Great Jacket...will be using a various expeditions as they open back up.
It's a beautiful jacket, well built all around fit is kind of snug for Regular Extra Large. The measurements are off at the top (chest, back, and shoulders) way too tight no room for movement and I was wearing just a Tshirt, that's not enough space for layers. So had to return it cuz Extra Larger would be longer arm length and longer body and that be not a good look!!!
Perfect for winter
Very good, quality product
I was looking for packable down but too much trouble gauging the down weight and down loft numbers to predict the best product for winter conditions. Took a chance on this 3M thinsulate jacket. Wore it outside in 18 deg weather with a t-shirt. No problem. Should do the job nicely for skiing and snowboarding. Nice price point. The company has a "California" label but the material tag says it's made in China. Overall, would give the value of this 6 stars so far. Wore it to work this morning since it looks nice, temps were 19 deg and all was warm. Search over.
